What Proof of Play does

Zero Chill says Proof of Play "helps verify legitimate player activity before qualifying ecosystem rewards or progression are recognized." The aim: no bots, no fake accounts, no manufactured activity and no abuse.

What counts as rewards

On Zero Chill, rewards are about progression: XP, Play Score (Zero Chill calls it "a measure of real, consistent participation"), streaks, daily challenges, badges and leaderboard ranks.

The Chill Meter

Zero Chill's Chill Meter shows how close verified play has brought you to your next qualifying earned-hash milestone. Zero Chill notes that streaks, Play Score and challenges appear alongside the meter but don't feed it, and that referrals never feed it.

From player to miner

Under Zero Chill's current model, qualifying gameplay may contribute toward hash-power progression through Proof of Play. Zero Chill states plainly that "This is about progression — not fixed earnings or guaranteed value." Zero Chill also says reward mechanics are designed to adapt as participation grows, rather than relying on static gameplay payouts.

Season 00 (proposed)

Zero Chill describes Season 00 as a proposed founding chapter, with permanent profile recognition (Genesis badges) for the first 1,000 verified players. Zero Chill marks it as proposed and pending final team approval.
